Perl Coding
If you want visitors to your website to be able to interact with your site, you need to have coding on the webserver that handles this for you. If you need to be able to manage your website's inventory and other content in real time, you definitely need a webmaster who codes these types of systems. Running a business website involves more than simply pushing a display of static information to your visitors. You want to enable your visitors to easily sign up for news letters, submit product requests, enter their names into a customer contact list, and more. A business website also needs to be updated in real time with announcements, sale items, inventory, that sort of thing. You will need the power of a great management system to handle these chores. You want to be able to log in, perform your updates and log out effortlessly so you can get back to managing the other aspects of your business. While there are a lot of different programming languages that one has to choose from to handle server side operations, Perl is perhaps the most mature, best supported, and most flexible language that is tailor made for this purpose. My speciality is that I am a Perl coder for website server side operations. Being a specialist in this means that it is not just a sideline for me. I do not code other types of programming projects or work in other server side languages and I make no apologies for this. Because of this I am able to quickly create systems using Perl that others would struggle over. To put it into perspective, let's say that you own a BMW and want the best possible service for it. Would you want a mechanic working on it who works on BMWs every once in a while or would you prefer the BMW specialist who lives and breaths BMWs? The same is true with programming. If your choice for a project involves using a specific language you would want someone who specializes in that language and can get the job done efficiently and accurately and not risk the project's success on someone with less ability. |
